Re: Hen & Rooster Voss cut question.
No it isn't. That box is from more recent manufacturer whereas a Voss H&R is probably 1960s - early 70s made in the original factory. Never seen an individual box for an early Hen & Rooster and I likely have ~3 dozen. I do recall seeing the odd 1/2 dozen box, and AG Russell had white with bl...

I think the $25 value to be very generous. No offense intended, I would just hold onto them as a momento.

Yes, pretty excited. That is some A+ shielded stag on the toothpick. If I were a bit more flush I'd have both coming my way.

Some nice favourites Greg, I have or had most of those models but not that elusive 54. That is a beauty.

I get some, I miss some, luck of the draw. I will be lucky on these as I have one of each reserved. I have been "fortunate" lately in procuring. I say fortunately as Ii have been convalescing after tearing 3 ligaments in my ankle and can't drive or work. So I sit at home and watch tv with ...

I used to own that mammoth Michigan. It was actually quite stunning in hand. Northwoods mammoth is stabilized and that crack won't be migrating. If the seller is whom I sold the Michigan as well as others, he is a fine member of this forum. The stag regrind Forest Jack also used to be mine. I cringe...

This looks to be quite possibly the best 86 out there. Although I also love the Waynorth 86 from 2019, and the BF annuals. Bit this one! Premium jigging seldom, if ever, seen except on Charlie's Diamond knives. The beautiful, bold bolsters and a winning blade combination. Congratulations to all who ...

Excellent work Bryan, I sent an email earlier and am hopeful to get one. The new collectors are now treating GEC knives like they treat limited edition Spydeco, Kershaw etc. Hot commodities to acquire to flip or trade for something else. The Facebook chatter is quite unlike the traditional knife col...

What is baffling to myself is that there remains unsold 2 blade 15 pattern M&G,'s These were the finest 15 jacks made in the last run. Quite possibly ever. Exquisite jigging on the bone. All it will take for them to be gone is for one of the, ahem, "influencial" knife connoisseurs on F...

Those ended up going quick. I just checked out before you posted that and there were four at that time. Great Eastern does outstanding jigging for Maher and Frosh. Beautiful knives Roger, can't wait.

Well it sold for the relisted price. I was also aatching it. $185 is pretty dear for that model, normal price should have been in the $125 area.

Re: Northwoods Willamette Whittler
Just prior to the transportation issues regarding ivory circa 2015, GEC did a limited amount of multiple models, parts knives so to speak. Broadway, Willamette, Fremont etc. I have it in a deeply recessed fold in my brain that it was about 6 examples per model. I could be, and likely are wrong on th...
