Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
I bought this Wards equal end at the flea market last Sunday. A very solid folder that was used lightly.
Bone covers and the pile side has a crack at the wandering spring pin. 3 5/8". It's a keeper.

Re: Folding Saw
Uhhh - ::paranoid:: - I should have said "I don't use it". I think a stout fellow or a couple of stout fellows could create a good kerf with it. It's very sharp. In my younger days I would have liked to have used it or tried to use it. I think it's an effective tool. There is a similar one...

Re: Outdoorsman Thread
The turtles have finally come up from the depths at the pond I visit daily.
It's always a pleasure to see them in the spring.
Is there a better life among the animals than the turtles?

It's posts like this that help me reinforce my belief that New York Knife Co. was, in my mind, the finest knife manufacture in the country.1fartsmella wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2024 12:48 am Both of these knives are likely made by New York Knife Co.
Barry, you must have an amazing collection. It's a pleasure to view these knives.

Boker 3588
Boker 3588, 3 7/16" closed. Delrin covers and missing shield as usual. I bought this knife at a flea market today for cheap. This and two trashy knives for 2 dollars. Missing shield: I punched out a leather radius and stamped my initials in it and epoxied it in the void. I won't be surprised if...

Re: Marking knife from scraps
Nice job on that marking knife, Reverand. If they're pretty that's a plus but they need to be effective and handy. Oh that poor carpenter pencil!
