Wow! Those knives look like they were made to be together. It's neat to see one that has been used and put through its paces and one that has been pampered its whole life. I'm glad you like the knife John and I can see it has found a good home. Thanks for posting the pics.

Dale, I don't know how I missed this post way back in August. Thanks for your well wishes. Our baby boy arrived arrived healthy as can be and we praise the good Lord for this little blessing. I still have the Buck 112 and I think I'm going to try to sell it. I have my eye on some of the new GECs. Th...

Custom Jeff Cover Sod Buster & Classic Micarta Sebenza (SOLD
First up for sale is a Chris Reeve Large Classic Sebenza. I received this knife in a trade and it appears to have never been used or carried. It does have a couple light storage marks on the bead blast finish and screws but they are very difficult to see. The blade does seem to be off center a just ...

Re: 1980 Stag Buck 112
Thanks JB,
I think I will put it up for sale at $120 and see if I can get any bites. Thank for the tip on the mirror polish. It will have to wait though, because my wife is expecting a baby next week. I have to put my knife hobby on hold for a few weeks.
Thanks again,

Re: 1980 Stag Buck 112
Thanks gino and JB,
It's interesting to know that the 440c was used on this knife. I was thinking that a stag knife like this would be more in the $120 range. Since it's only worth about $50, I think I'll strap it to the belt and start giving the 440c some use. Thanks again for the info.

1980 Stag Buck 112
Hi folks, I was wondering if someone could give me a little help on this one. I bought this knife about 8 years ago at a swap meet for $45. I believe it was made in 1980 by looking at the dots on the tang. It seems to be from the custom shop if the sheath is original. Can anyone give me any more inf...

Mike,
How do you like that A.G. Russell stockman? I've had my eye on one of those for awhile, but have never pulled the trigger. I love that small spey blade. Thanks for sharing the photo.
