Garddogg56 I have a couple of lantern cases like the one you showed. I've learned the hard way you need to be very careful to make sure the tab is caught on both sides at the bottom, otherwise you may end up dropping the lantern. They do help protect the lantern pretty well other than that.

Jody that stands for "Electronic Benefit Transfer" card. Basically it's a card that functions somewhat like a debit card or a prefunded credit card. It normally has a set limit you can spend on it and the person who receives nutritional assistance can buy food items and pay for them with t...

Heck, maybe it's the online version of Floyd's Barber Shop. ::nod:: Well close maybe, but there's not as much hair on the floor here. I guess it's just like Floyd's shop, I wonder what kind of pocket knife Andy's carryin? It was an Old Timer scout knife he got from Prince Albert. ::tu:: That remind...

Re: Can you change a blade and keep value
A knife that has had a blade replaced is not worth as much as one in original condition. It is, however, in my opinion worth more with a full correct replacement blade than it is with a broken blade. Whether it is worth the cost of this repair would greatly depend on the knife. Just as some cars are...

Doggone! Talk about FINE DINING !
That thing sure is pretty. I would hate to splatter barbeque sauce all over it, but I guess I would take the chance anyway. I expect it would be easier to clean up than one with stag handles.

Re: Latest find/Neft Safety Fish Knife
Wow, that is an interesting knife! I have a book that says there were eight different patterns of interchangable blades offered for the Neft Safety Nife. (Goins ) It also says the knife was made in several different sizes. Is the blade in your knife removable? Sounds like something similar to those ...

I suggest you paint you a checkerboard on the back side of that thing so you can have twice as much fun with it.
I'm just joking with you.
That is an interesting collectable and a nice little bit of knife history.

If I'm not mistaken, the "TB" stands for knife maker and designer Tony Bose who helped Case design some very nice knives. Your saddlehorn is one of them.

Funny thing is once my collection got past about 20 knives or so, my wife quit paying any attention to them. She could not tell you if I have 20 or 2000. To her they are just "all those knives".
