ADDITIONAL INFO: I have seen the Sabre brand of knives for years made in Japan and other countries as well, including the USA. Some of them are not the greatest knives in the world and some of them are surprisingly good but from what I’ve seen the quality depends on the style and probably where it was produced. This one is one that I would classify as “not their best.” The blade steel seems to be a little bit soft but the thing that stands out most to me about this knife are the bone handles. I have never seen one of these before so I picked it up and thought I would pass it along to one of the peanut collectors here at a reasonable price.
