Presto Cub Size Hunter with Winterbottom Bone Handles









This rare switchblade was manufactured by PRESTO a division of the Geo Schrade Knife Company of Bridgeport, Conn. It was most likely made in the 1930's to 1940's. This knife is 4" closed 6 3/4" op3en and has a clip blade, steel liners and bolsters and features worm groove, commonly referred to as Winterbottom bone handles. The blade seats deep and it fires strong. There is minor movement in the open position. There is a chip missing from each handle. Most repairman can replace these areas. It has the original copper-beryllium spring. This handle style is one of the rarest used by Presto.
