ADDITIONAL INFO:     I am not sure when this knife was made, but I believe they came out in about 1992-1994. I have a similar model I bought in that time frame that is also ATS-34 steel. I have a great fondness for ATS-34 blades. I find they have great edge retention and they are not difficult to sharpen. I believe it still has the factory edge, though someone may have used it lightly as the blade is not as sharp as the one I bought from the factory. It does come with a Benchmade box, but it’s a much later box for a different knife.
