Dixon Cutlery Co. Kastor France 12" Kitchen Knife With Crown Used 100 Years Plus

Firstly, Adolf Kastor (Camillus, XLNT, Germania) just to name a few, oh and A.W. Wadsworth and Dixon were all house brands of Kastor. Europe was the source, Bohemia, Austria, Germany, Karlsbad, France were the source for their knives. This Dixon looks to be a kitchen knife made before 1920. Birds eye rivets, the crown on the handle for 'panache', Oak, iron guard and doe tails made a pretty knife; when new. Carbon steel will sharpen up and I bet this one will clean up nicely; use elbow grease.
