BLADE LENGTH:  4-1/2”

POMMEL:  Integral

HANDLE:   Cast aluminum, probably with plating over it.

TANG STAMPS:   None

SHEATH:   Nice, well fit, leather sheath

CONDITION:   Excellent

DAMAGE:   Normal scratches to blade from wear and sharpening, and shallow pitting near the tip on both sides.

BLADE WEAR: As near as I can tell, it appears to have less than 10% blade loss

AGE: Circa World War II?

MADE IN:   Probably made in the U.S.A.

ADDITIONAL INFO:     I bought this knife some time ago hoping that I might be able to identify its maker. So far, I’ve had no success in identifying a maker. It’s a nice knife with a nice quality leather sheath. I expect it was made by someone who donated them to the military during WWII. There were number of people who did that, from small knife makers like David Murphy to individuals who started making knives in their garage and donating them to the troops.
