This beautifully hand crafted RARE JOHN SCHULPS CUSTOM ONE-OF-A-KIND FIGHTING KNIFE W/CUSTOM LEATHER SHEATH is in EXCELLENT overall condition! Shows only very minor handling/storage related wear, surface scratches, debris, etc. Blade appears unused! Micarta handle scales are fully intact and tight with no cracks! Custom made leather sheath is very good condition! I was able to confirm with John's son Marty this knife was indeed made by his father and it was made around the year 2000 out of 440C. He also confirmed the sheath was also made by John. 

CUSTOM HANDMADE IN USA!

Weight is 14.2oz w/o sheath

 

John M. Schulps

 

1940 - 2010

John was a master potter and knife maker, receiving his education at Cal State Northridge and a Masters from UCLA. He owned his own business, Schulps Pottery & Knives for over 40 years.

 

 

John played professional football for the Vikings and Giants in the 60s, which led to his passion of coaching youth and high school football in Orland, CA.
