BLADES:   drop point master blade, long pool sweat ground pin blade & small broken blade that appears to be hollow ground.

TANG STAMPS:   S X M / TITUSVILLE / PA stamped on all three blades.

CONDITION:   Fair, a great project knife for restoration. It needs one blade to be complete. See pictures.

DAMAGE:   Broken secondary blade, normal blade & handle wear, one pin crack with small gap.

BLADE WEAR:   Estimated 20% blade wear.

SNAP:   good snap on the main blade, the secondary blade that is not broken, is a little slow closing.

MADE IN:   USA

ADDITIONAL INFO:     This knife is sold as is for someone who just wants an example to fill a space in their collection until they can upgrade that example. It is also a great project knife for the person who would like to restore it. I do not have the blade to restore it, but I think it really needs one blade and some TLC to restore it. Every now and then I see blades floating around in eBay for Schatt & Morgan knives, but not many of them. There is a pin crack on the mark side handle above the top pin near the shield. There is about a 1/32” of an inch gap between the pen and the tip bolster about 3/64” long. The crack does continue down from the pen to the shield. I'm confident this could be stabilized with Zap A Gap or similar cyanoacrylate adhesive. This is a nice little knife that would make a great pocket carry just with the two blades it has on it now.
