THIS is a very beautiful knife, I've had this since the 1980's the beauty has never changed, Did some research, this is some kind of a black composote plastic, not celliod, and covered in bakelite to perserve the beauty! There might be some shrinkage, but having this for 35 years nothing has changed, you may see the rim of the liner, I'm guessing that this was there on purpose, never the less, it is still something else to have! Pretty sure it's older than some people might think, I might be surprised myself! Study this, and let's see if you can top this one, of the exact same knife. and coming from England!! as well as I pack professionally! Be the next owner of this knife! Oh, btw, in picture # 5 the white you see is not a tear or a scracth just a reflection of light or background. so rest assured, it is a near perfect knife!!
