This is the original A.G. Russell One-Hand Knife, a legendary design introduced in 1987 and known for being one of the first folders ever designed for true one-handed operation. This specific version features a rare Damascus blade and all-metal construction, making it especially desirable to collectors.
The knife’s handle is crafted from a single piece of stainless spring steel, heat-treated to create the proper tension for the integral lock bar. Combined with the two-piece pivot screw, this gives the knife outstanding strength and precision. The slim, clipless design makes it very pocket-friendly — light, smooth, and unobtrusive.
Though the blades were produced in Seki, Japan, the final assembly, fitting, and sharpening were done in the U.S.A. by A.G. Russell's team, a point of pride for collectors who value craftsmanship and heritage.
