Marble MSA Gladstone MI Easy Open Jack Brown Italian Jigged Bone 2001 Slightly Used

Marble Arms under Mike Stewart, Bark River Knives, set out in 2001 to produce high quality American made traditional pocket knife patterns.  They contracted with Queen to produce all the parts for these knives and they were delivered to Marbles MSA in Gladstone MI for assembly and fit and finish.  After the first run of only 400 total knives made, Marbles came into severe financial problems and gave up on the MI assembly.  The production of knives done in 2002 and 2003 were done by Queen under the watchful eye of Dave Shirley at Queen's custom shop.  After this all the Marbles knives were made in China.  

This is an easy open jack with brown Italian jigged bone handles that are chip and crack free.  The carbon steel blades have been used lightly and show signs of resharpening with little blade loss, see photos.  Measures 3 3/4" closed OAL.  The snap on the main blade is a bit soft.  I bought this knife as a place holder until I could find one that was in mint condition.  Selling this one at a big discount to a mint one.  Comes with the original box and black velvet knife pouch.  Free shipping within the USA.
