Case XX Tested Switchblade Knife
For sale Case XX tested switchblade knife. It was made from 1920-1940. Has stag handles which has a groove under the lever, ,nickel silver bolsters and release lever. Sabre ground clip blade is stamped "CASE" over "Tested XX" and the back is blank. Bottom bolster is also stamped "Case" over "Tested XX". Lever release knife measures 4 & 3/8" closed and 7 & 13/16 open. This is a great piece of Case history. You will notice that the blade does not sit down into the frame when closed. The blade has wobble when opened. I sent this into the Case repair department to have them repair it. They could not due to the lack of parts. so if you want this it would be a great addition to your collection. The blade fires open but not all the way you have to help it and locks when closed.
