Vintage, Hard-to-Find Blade Openers - Jack Knife Ben and C. Platts Sons, Gowanda
These two hard-to-find, old pocket knife blade openers are approximately 3 3/4" long. The items were given to retailers, salesmen and hardware store clerks who sold the manufacturers' knives. The openers saved many of a thumb nail. Both are marked: (1) C. PLATTS SONS, GOWANDA, N.Y. and, (2) JACK KNIFE BEN, UNION STOCK YARDS CHICAGO(see pics).
