Case XX (63083) Purple bone Whittler
For sale is this Case XX 63083 pattern Case Classics Whittler. The handles are purple jig bone and are damage free. A 1992 year model. Has three blades. Called a balloon whittler with split back spring. This is part of the Case Classics program. XX Stamped on the main blade and stamped ( CASE BROTHERS BRADFORD 19 USA 92) on the front side and (TESTED 63083). Second blade stamped (CASE BROS TESTED XX BRDFORD PA), and the third (CASE BROS XX BRADFORD PA). Bow tie shield. You can find this knife in the book titled (CASE CLASSICS BEST IN THE LONG HAUL) by Jim Parker and Bill Penley. Found on page 118 letter M purple bone Tang date 1992, blade 63083, qty made 102, and XX blade etch. Blade rubs on all blades. A truly nice knife. Great knife all around. Good spring tension. Has the correct box. Must be 18 years old. I sell to the USA only.
