Made in America!

I haven't had much luck in finding information on Crucible knife company. Apparently they were only in operation for a short period of time. These knives are not easy to find. As soon as I got this one in my hands, I knew it was special. I immediately took it outside for some glamour shots before I even cleaned it up. And after cleaning it, the weather has refused to cooperate. So just know that the white gunk by the shield and the verdigris in the nail nick are no longer present.

Not only is she beautiful, but functions very well! The springs are strong on both blades. Open, close and half stops are solid! The high carbon blades have light to moderate patina with no pitting. The secondary blade as been well used. The good news is, while the main blade has also been used, it is nowhere near the same amount as the secondary. The main blade does not freely wobble, but you can manually move it a little bit when opened. No wobble or play in secondary. The bolsters show light signs of wear with some scratches and blemishes. The jigged bone scales have a beautifully aged amber color. They are free of any chips or cracks. Brass pins, spacer and liners. Bomb shield. The main blade is approx 2.5" clip point, with long pull nail nick (now verdigris free) and swedge grind. 3.5" OAL closed.

Excellent knife. Built to last. Could be a very cool user or a safe queen.

**Note: I am new to knife collecting and selling. All descriptions are to the best of my knowledge and in an attempt to be as honest and forthright as possible in regards to knife condition. I have conducted hours upon hours of research on each individual knife that comes into my possession in an attempt to set a fair price. PLEASE feel free to contact me for more information on this or any other item in my store.
