Custom Fish Filet Knife in AEB-L Stainless Steel with Amboyna Wood Handles
This is a custom, hand crafted fish filet knife made from 1/16" thick AEB-L stainless steel (approx. thickness) and fitted with a set of professionally stabilized Amboyna wood handles. The knife was cut, ground, heat treated and tempered in my shop. The Rockwell hardness for this knife is HRC56. Knife measures approx. 10 3/4". The handles are secured to the knife with industrial grade epoxy and brass pins. This knife comes with a heavy duty, hand made leather sheath thats been dyed and sealed.
Note: The small dimple on the blade near my makers mark is not a flaw. It is a remnant of the Rockwell hardness testing.
