Schrade USA – Baby Stockman 807UH – NKCA PROTOTYPE – Walnut handles

Schrade USA made baby stockman pattern 807UH. This knife was made in 1997 as a submission for the 1998 National Knife Collector’s Association youth knife program yearly knife. This is the original 1 piece prototype that was created for the NKCA. It was not the chosen pattern, and so this knife never went into full production. This knife was sold through the Voyles Prototype auction in 2009 to raise funds for the NKCA.
This knife has walnut handles, brass liners, nickel silver bolsters, and oval Schrade shield. Closed length is 2 13/16 inches.
This knife does not have half stops on any blades. It does not come with a box. The main blade is etched “1998 NKCA Youth Knife”. The sheepfoot blade is etched “1 of 700” and the pen blade is engraved “PROTOTYPE”.
The back side handle near the left pin has a feature that may be considered a crack. It could be a natural feature of the wood. Very difficult to tell, but I wanted you to be aware. I included a closeup photo.
The blades are all in great shape, never used or sharpened. All snap good open and closed. I am the original buy of the knife from the NKCA auction.
I’ve been on AAPK for 20 years. Return the knife if you aren’t happy. Message me if you have questions. Free shipping to 50 US states. Paypal accepted. Thanks.
