Knife measures 3 3/8" closed. Primary blade appears full and unsharpened retaining its factory edge. Sadly the secondary blade is broke and seems to have happened early in the life of this knife. It locks tight. Secondary has two patent dates indicating this is an early one. Spring is fine. Primary fires but doesn't lock, seeming to be a little material missing on primary in locking area. Sterling silver scales are fully in tact with original enamel. Very little wear. Safeties and rockers are fine. Replace the secondary blade, add a little material to the primary and this knife will be proud again. Knife is over 100 years old and is a great candidate for restoration. It should be in the hands of someone with the skill to provide the needed TLC.
