Vintage Valor Balisong Butterfly Knife, Model 527 Ninja, Japan, Unused. Includes original "NINJA KNIFE" box. 

Here's a nice 80's Japanese made Bali. I've bought and sold a bunch of these vintage pieces and this one is very high quality. It has thick handles and blade with tight pins and smooth blade swing.  

I believe the handle on this model is steel. It has black plastic inserts. The blade has a satin finish with NINJA and Japanese characters on it. The front blade tang is stamped VALOR MIAMI U.S.A and the back tang is stamped 440 STAINLESS 527 JAPAN.

- The knife is unused. There's light scuffs and scratches on the blade. The handle is in great shape. I don't see any other condition issues. See the pictures as they represent the condition accurately. 

- Functions great, blade moves smoothly in the handle. The latch is tight open and when closed 

- 9.5 inch total length, 4.25 inch blade.

ABOUT: I've been into knives since I was a kid. I always seemed to have a small accumulation of them in my dresser drawer for example. I started carrying one regularly in 1991 when I was in the US Army stationed in Panama. My knife collecting days started around 2010 and in 2021 I decided to become a dealer. 

I'm still a collector so I understand the fun and excitement of finding a new treasure. Because of that I always do my best to give accurate information about my knives and their condition. I take lots of pictures and offer video's for all the switchblades and some of the other knives I sell. I research sales prices and other available information and have a great network of dealers and collectors to draw from. All that said, I still make mistakes so please let me know if something I say is innacurate or misleading.
