Rare Tourist Switchblade Stiletto Knife From Italy, Unused

Rare Tourist Switchblade Stiletto Knife, Italy.
Here's a hard to find automatic! This style of knife is usually referred to as a tourist or card knife. Normally sold off cards in tourist spots in Italy. I think this is an early production piece because of the color and style of the handle and the tang stamps.
It has a jeweled green & textured handle. The mark is EIG CUTLERY over ITALY on the front tang and BREVETTATO on the back.
It's a great looking knife and sweet piece for your collection! Please remember to check out my other items.

- I believe it's unused. The knife has some light scuffs and scratches from handling and storage. The blade has light patina and is off center when closed. I don't see any other condition issues. See the pictures as they represent the condition accurately.
- Fires stong and locks up nicely. It is a button open/button close function and has a working safety.
- The total length with the blade open is 7 inches, the handle is 4 inches and the blade is 3 inches.
- Knife only.

WANT LIST: I do my best to maintain an inventory of interesting and unique knives. I'm always looking for single pieces and collections. My current switchblade focus includes Miniature & Keychain, Vintage Imports from Europe (Spain, France, Italy, etc.) & Asia (Japan, Korea, Taiwan, etc.), RPK's, Bullfighters, older Microtechs & Daltons and some other American Switchblades. I also like interesting miniature knives and arms, 1980's Import Balisongs, Coutel, Digby's (Graham Clayton) and older Great Eastern Cutlery folders.
ABOUT: I've been into knives since I was a kid. I always seemed to have a small accumulation of them in my dresser drawer for example. I started carrying one regularly in 1991 when I was in the US Army stationed in Panama. My knife collecting days started around 2010 and in 2021 I decided to become a dealer.
I'm still a collector so I understand the fun and excitement of finding a new treasure. Because of that I always do my best to give accurate information about my knives and their condition. I take lots of pictures and offer video's for all the switchblades and some of the other knives I sell. I research sales prices and other available information and have a great network of dealers and collectors to draw from. All that said, I still make mistakes so please let me know if something I say is innacurate or misleading.
