I'm an engineer by profession, but I've recently had a bad run of health which has led to a lot of downtime. Ive spent a good portion of that time growing my knife collection and learning more about knives. This community has been very helpful with all of that.
Interests: I am drawn to any folding bone or pearl handle knife. Coming from the northeast I also enjoy finding knives from small regional cutlers, especially early iterations that grew to be formidable names in the field. Finally, as a sailor I find old rope knives to be cool, especially bone handled ones!
