1) The “Pheasant” Knife. This knife was made by Imperial using their Hammer Brand logo and was made between 1945-1955. The blade is unused and unsharpened with only a few specks and light stains. Both covers depict a pheasant in flight in a four color foil or celluloid. The gold has a beauty gold leaf look to it. Covers are in perfect condition with no cracks, splits or missing chips.
2) The “Mallard” Knife. This knife is stamped on the front tang with Imperial (over) PROV USA dating this knife to being made between 1946-1956. The blade is lightly used but unsharpened. These covers depict a six color mallard in flight. The covers are in excellent condition with no cracks, splits or missing chips and just a few minor scuffs.
3) The “Hunting Dog” Knife. The tang stamping is just about completely worn off but I can see enough to see this one is also stamped Imperial (over) PROV USA and also from the 1946-1956 period. The blade looks unused and unsharpened but both faces are a little cloudy from not being cleaned correctly. There are just a few specks and light stains. The covers depict a black and white hunting dog that is pointing out the birds most likely but maybe a small mammal. The covers on this one are in excellent condition with no cracks, splits or missing chips.
4) The “Swordfish” Knife. This knife is stamped Imperial (over) PROV USA. The silver on this silver and blue swordfish is as shiny as silver leaf. They’re in fantastic condition with no cracks, splits or missing chips. The blade has a few light scratches but appears unsharpened. It does have some staining and some scattered specks on the front face and some light pitting on the rear face running along the top. All the blades have excellent open and close snap.
