Steve Vanderkolff another Canadian maker whose work is top notch...I can't even  compare his, his fit and finish is something else.  He hand polishes everything, bolsters, blade, even the backspring and liners. This one is Crosscut, more labor/time intensive, mammoth ivory scales and bolsters and end caps.Has a smooth 4 pull, good snap ,flush in all 3. This swayback is amazing. The scales are smooth as glass. I like light colored mammoth and was blown away with this crosscut. He builds a little stouter than most, weighs 2.6 ozs. Vanderkolff is wider, thicker and the blade is also wider,belly. Those Canadian makers get the best mammoth. Ships next day , priority.
