ADDITIONAL INFO: This knife uses Camillus’ patented Lev-R-Lok system. When the user presses down on the lever the blade snaps open. The mechanism is totally mechanical and 100% positive. It does not rely on springs, inertia, or gravity to open the blade. The blade is open exclusively by the user pressing down on the lever. The blade is held in place by a lockback mechanism. The lockback releases the blade to close. The knife has a steel lined lanyard hole. The #5849 appears in the Camillus catalogs/pricelists from 1998 until 2006.
