This magnificent vintage knife is a presentation grade Civil War Bowie Knife reproduction hand made personally by Tak Fukuta in Japan c.1985 with surgical steel blade, genuine mother of pearl scales, black liner spacers and beautiful engraved nickel silver G. Woodhead 1812 Horse Pommel. The knife blade is decorated with an eagle with ribbon in his beak printed on the ribbon is "Land of Freedom The Patriots Self Defender Protected by Her Brave Volunteers". The tang is stamped "Parker Cut. Co." over the Parker logo and "Hand Made" below. The opposite side of the tang is stamped "Surgical Steel Made in Japan". The knife measures 14 9/16” long, the blade is 10 1/8” long 3/16” thick. This knife was never presented to any person or for any event so there is no other engraving. This would be the premiere addition to your collection!
