Pre WWII Richarz Germany Fish Knife 5" Closed Claso Blade Very light Use Steel Hardware Cracked Ice
'Richarz' began making knives in Germany before immigrating to England in the early 1930's where they quickly became the largest knife maker in England. This fish knife in tang stamped 'Made in Germany' but the steel is the type Richarz made, extruded steel, a much higher quality than stamped steel that they produced in England. The blade shows careful wear with no sign of rust. All steel construction with cracked ice handles. A well cared for knife, ninety odd years old.
