This is a 1st Generation FRANK BUSTER CUTLERY GERMANY FIGHT'N ROOSTER 1-Blade Folding Hunter with the Serial No. of #044 in Near Mint to Mint Condition with an Unused and Unsharpened Carbon Steel Clip Point Blade with Common Nail Pull and Etched with Cock of the Walk and the Fight'n Rooster Logo, a Beautiful Set of Multi-Colored Gold, Red, Orange and Black Glitter Christmas Tree Celluloid Scales, German Steel Bolsters and End Caps and Brass Liners and Pins and Both are 5” in Length, Made by Frank Buster Cutlery Germany in Solingen, Germany in 1978.

Once again this is another knife from my personal Christmas Tree collection.  This is a Near Mint to Mint Unused Frank Buster Fight’n Rooster 1-Blade Folding Hunter Knife. Cock of the Walk” Folding Hunters. This is a 1st generation knife being made in 1978. It has an unused and unsharpened carbon steel saber clip point blade with a common nail pull. Etched on the front face is Cock of the Walk with the 2 Fight’n Roosters logo in the middle. The serial number of #044 is etched near the tang of only 600 made. There are some nearly imperceptible tiny specks on the rear face and few very light horizontal scratches from polishing.  Stamped on the front tang of the main blade is the 2 Fight’n Rooster Logo (over) SOLINGEN. Stamped on the back tang is FRANK BUSTER (in an arch) (over) CUTLERY (over) GERMANY. This is the first stamping used indicating this is a first generation knife being made in 1978. The blade still has its original factory mirror polish and its original factory edge The blade still has has an excellent, hard and loud snap on both open and close. The scales on this one are a beautiful set of multi-colored red, gold, orange and black Christmas Tree Celluloid. They're in great condition with no cracks, breaks or missing chips. Also on the front scale is the 2 Fight’n Rooster logo that looks like an applied decal. There are three (3) brass handle pins in each scale. The liners are brass as well. The knife has a single steel back spring with no cracks or breaks. It continues to perform the functions it was designed to perform. The knife is 5” in length. This beautiful Folding Hunter is 5” in length and in near mint to mint condition. Additional photos or information
