You are viewing The NUESTRA SENORA de ATOCHA KNIFE AND COIN COMMEMORATIVE SET. This is a RARE one with only 960 of these exquisitely crafted knife and coin sets ever produced. This is set # 0608 as indicated on the front bolster. The serial number is surrounded by the ""long tail C"" design. This knife is model BHC1050SS and features: * Polished stainless steel blades deep-etched with a striking likeness of the ship, Nuestra Senora de Atocha * Handles made of genuine, rare Buffalo horn, rich in elegant beauty. Stamped on the front tang is Case XX .SS (1dot) USA with the lightning ""S"" in Case, SS, & USA. Never sharpened, carried, or cleaned. No chips or cracks in handles. As condition can be subjective from one person to another, please see the attached photographs to determine your own opinion as to condition.

SPECIAL commemorative coin is ONE TORY OUNCE OF SILVER which was made from an 80-pound silver bar recovered from The Nuestra Senora de Atocha July 20, 1985 from a shipwreck off the Florida coast on September 6, 1622.

Both knife and coin are housed is a special hardwood display case with cultured marble lid that features detailed fine art of the Atocha at sea. Scrimshawed artwork of the Atocha is carved into the lid and it comes in a nice Oak box. The coin and protective coin case have slight damage as can be seen in the pics. The Knife is in marvelous condition and would make a great addition to anyone's collection.
