Marbles Benchmade by Tak Fukuta Seki Japan Made Serial Number 000
This is a Marbles Benchmade lockback with buffalo horn handles. Made in Seki Japan during that time period when Jim Parker owned the Marbles brand name and farmed out production to Japan and Germany. This one has 000 serial number engraved on the back of the blade. This just might be a prototype, the fit and finish is a little bit off from the usual fit and finish of these knives. The pivot pin sticks out a bit more than usual and the buffalo horn handles are just a touch undersized on the back on one end. The handles are chip and crack free but the front slab has some natural valleys from the horn. I'm sure they left that to retain some of the sandy color of the buffalo horn. The blade is stainless steel and has not been used or resharpened and retains it's factory edge. Solid lock up and easy release. The nickel silver bolsters have some very intricate detail on them. Measures 4" closed OAL. Comes with the original box. Free shipping within the USA.
