Vintage EDW. PARKER & SONS GERMANY 4-Blade Equal End Pen Pocket Knife c.1900-1930 Pearl

This is a Vintage Or Antique EDW. PARKER & SONS GERMANY 4-Blade Equal End Pen Folding Pocket Knife with a Used and Sharpened Carbon Steel Spear Point Main Blade with a Long Nail Pull, a Used and Sharpened Carbon Steel Pen Secondary Blade with a Long NailPull, a Second Used and Sharpened Pen Blade with a Long Nail Pull, a Carbon Steel Dual-Sided Fingernail File, or Manicure, Blade, a Gorgeous Set of Genuine Mother-of-Pearl Scales with no Cracks, Splits or Missing Chips, a Brightly Polished Nickel Silver Narrow Bar Shield Inlaid Flush in the Center of the Front Scale, Three Polished Brass Handle Pins in Each Scale, Brightly Polished Nickel Silver Rounded and Elongated Bolsters, Brightly Polished Brass Liners, Two Steel Back Springs with No Cracks or Breaks, 3 1/16” in Length and Made Between c.1910-1930 in Germany.
This is an uncommon Vintage or Antique Edward Parker & Sons Germany 4-blade equal end pen folding pocket knife still in pretty good condition. The knife has a used and sharpened carbon steel spear point main blade with a long nail pull. The rear face has the gray patina of aged carbon steel with extremely light micro-pitting. The front face is much cleaner than the front face with only a bit of scattered micro-pitting. There’s a tiny nick on the cutting edge near the center of the blade. Stamped on the front tang is GERMANIA (over) CUTLERY WORKS (underlined)(over) GERMANY. Stamped on the rear tang is EDW. PARKER (over) & SONS (over) GERMANY. Next to the spear blade is a used and sharpened carbon steel pen blade with a long nail pull. The front face has scattered light pitting while the rear face has just a few light pits and just a bit of light staining. Stamped on the front tang is EDW. PARKER (over) & SONS (over) GERMANY. On the other end of the frame is another used and sharpened carbon steel pen blade with a long nail pull. Both faces have quite a bit of scratching and light pitting. Stamped on the front tang is EDW. PARKER (over) & SONS (over) GERMANY. The last blade is a dual sided fingernail file, or manicure, blade with a long nail pull. Both faces have a standard vertical ridge and valley nail file while the top portion of the blade is the fingernail cleaner. Stamped on the rear tang is EDW. PARKER (over) & SONS (over) GERMANY. The spear blade has a good snap on open and close and a thump on the half-stop. The first pen blade has a light snap on open, a good snap on close and a good half-stop. The two blades on the other end have very good open and close snap and hard half-stops. The knife has a really nice set of genuine Mother-of-Pearl Scales. They’re in excellent plus condition and are free of any cracks, splits or missing chips. It has a brightly polished nickel silver narrow bar shield inlaid flush in the center of the front scale. There are three brightly polished brass handle pins in each scale. The knife has brightly polished nickel silver rounded and elongated bolsters. The liners are brightly polished brass. The knife has a two steel back springs and both are free of any cracks or breaks and both continue to perform the functions they were designed to perform. This is an uncommon vintage or antique EDW. Parker & Sons Germany 4-Blade Pen Pocket Knife with a Great set of genuine Mother-of-Pearl scales and is 3 1/16” in length. The knife was made in Germany between c.1900-1930.
