This is a lightly used and sharpened Challenge Cutlery Co 2-Blade Equal End Senator Pen Folding Pocket Knife. The knife has a lightly used and lightly sharpened stainless steel narrow spear point main blade with a long nail pull. Other than some light scratches from light use and sharpening both faces are pretty clean. Still plainly etched on the front face is STAINLESS. Stamped on the front tang is CHALLENGE (in an arch)(over) CUTL CO (over) BRIDGEPORT (over) CONN. Stamped on the rear tang is US in the same font typically found on knives made for the military. But I find it kind of hard to believe that the military issued Pearl handled pen knives when they typically issued 4- blade utility knives or electrician’s knives The knife has a lightly used and unsharpened stainless steel pen secondary blade with a common nail pull. The front face shows only some scratches from use but the rear face is clean. Stamped on the front tang is CHALLENGE (in an arch)(over) CUTL CO (over) BRIDGEPORT (over) CONN. Stamped on the rear tang is US in the same font typically found on knives made for the military. Both blades still have a hard snap on both open and close. The knife has a set of genuine Mother-of-Pearl scales. There is a single obvious end pin crack on the rear scale. It runs from the top liner to the edge of the end pin and down to the bottom of the tip bolster. All the Pearl is still stable and secure. There are no other cracks, splits or missing chips. There is a brightly polished nickel silver long narrow bar shield inlaid flush in the center of the front scale. There are three (3) nickel silver handle pins in each scale. The knife has brightly polished nickel silver tip bolsters but the liners are polished brass. The knife has a single polished steel back spring with no cracks, breaks or blemishes. It continues to perform the functions it was designed to perform. The knife is 3 1/8” in. Additional photos or information on request.
