James Huckeba (Huck) Switchblade, Marked "Huck", Tanto Blade, Nice Stag Handle, Unused. James Huckeba started making custom knives in Georgia in the 70's. He made fixed blades initially but in the 90's started making switchblades. I stumbled across pictures of his knives and really liked them. Of course now I have some in my collection! Huck died in 1996 so its hard to find information on the internet about him. I have talked with a lot of dealers and collectors who were around during the 90's and his knives were some of the nicest made in that time period. There are scattered references about him if you care to search. If you talk to collectors or dealers from the Southeast part of the country many know him and admire his work.

I HAVE A VIDEO AVAILABLE OF THIS KNIFE. PLEASE CONTACT ME BY TEXT @ (3 ZERO 3) - 5 FOUR 9 - 1 4 1 9 AND I WILL SEND IT TO YOU.

- Mirror polished blade. I don't know the blade material although my guess is ATS 34 based on previous Huck fixed blades I owned that were ATS 34.

- Micarta frame, stainless steel spine, Stag handle.

- Coil spring, button open, button close mechanism.

- Marked "Huck" on the frame spine. Also has file work on frame spine.

- Never carried, used or sharpened. The blade is off center. One of the stage scales is slightly seperating from the frame which can be seen in the blade centering picture. I don't see any other condition issues. See the pictures as they represent the condition accurately.

- Functions great, fires open strong and locks up with very little blade play.

- approximately 10 3/4 inch total length, approximately 5 inch blade.

- Knife only.
