Standard Knife Co. Scout
This is a Standard Knife Co. Scout. According to Goin's Encyclopedia Of Cutlery Markings, Standard Knife Co, was a tang stamp used by W.R. Case & Sons from c. 1920-1948. The knives were contracted by Kinfolks from 1926 to 1928 and later by Kabar into the 1930s. This knife has heavy patina on all blades. The master spear blade has very nice swedge and features a long pull. All blades open and close properly with good snap. The handles are a jigged composite material and there is a crack across the front handle at the pin as show in the photos. It you want to add a little history to your collection here's your chance to do so for not a lot of money. If for any reason you are not satisfied, you may return the knife within seven days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price.
