CLOSED LENGTH : 4 inches long. HANDLES : Jigged bone with no cracks and no chips. TANG STAMPS : The tangs of all blades are stamped GOTTLIEB (over) HAMMESFAHR (over) SOLINGEN, FOCHE (over) GERMANY. The back side of the master tang is stamped with a Pyramid and inside the Pyramid is a Cross. CONDITION : Mint or at least near mint. This is carbon steel and there is some light spotting. Check it out in the photos. BOX: None DAMAGE : None AGE : This company has been making knives since the 1600s and is still in business today. The large kicks on the pen and file blades make time frame to be in the 1930s. COUNTRY OF ORIGIN : Germany BLADE WEAR : None SHIELD AND BLADE ETCH : There is a curved bar shield and no etch. SNAP : Very good on all blades, opening and closing and with good half stops. ADDITIONAL INFO : Iron bolsters and actual crocus polish. This old knife has it all.
