ADDITIONAL INFO:     When I found this knife I thought it was a Camillus #11 with different handles and I don’t recall ever seeing a #11 nickel silver bolsters and liners. I bought this from a dealer and when I got home I compared it to a Camillus #11 in my collection. Blades are the same although the blade in my Camillus is down slightly from use. The frame and blade shape are identical the handle material is different from the Delrin of the Camillus and the rocker pin in this Crosman is hidden under the handle whereas it's visible on the Camillus. Neither knife has exposed handle pins.

It's pretty obvious to me that this knife was and SFO (special factory order) made by Camillus or whoever wants representing their brand. This knife has been used sold little there is still a little dried oil in the joint. I put 2 or 3 drops of Quick Release Oil in the joint and it moves much more freely now. It has a nice solid lockup, "THUNK" both when opening and closing. The sheath looks like it has never been used. I think this knife originally sold for a good bit more than the Camillus #11 because of the solid nickel silver frame which is thick enough it doesn't need liners. The nickel silver bolsters and frame on each side seem to be made from a single piece of metal just like the Camillus #11 accept the Camillus is made of brass, considerably less expensive than nickel silver. This is a beautiful knife and would make a great centerpiece in the Camillus SFO display. It's kind of a shame because I like this version much more than the Camillus Delrin and brass combination. Now is your chance to get this beautiful old knife that looks like new!

I discovered that the knife has two different spellings of the word Crosman on it while I was listing it in my store. The tang stamp and the flap of the sheath both have the name spelled Crosman, which is correct. Whoever etched blade of the knife with the words "Crossman Blades" had not read the work order properly or had a bit of trouble spelling.
