ADDITIONAL INFO: Gerber introduce the Folding Sportsman I in 1976. The FS II had been introduced in 1972. I think they were discontinued in about 1995. Being from Oregon and having managed a cutlery store in the 1980s and early 1990s approximately 40 miles from the Gerber factory I have seen, sold and sharpened a lot of Gerber knives. There is something iconic about the Folding Sportsman series of knives; to me they are the knife that comes to my mind when I think of a Gerber pocketknife. I have both the FS I and the FS II and I EDC both on a regular basis. The design of the folding sportsman fits very well in my hand and I really like them a lot. Here’s your chance to add one to your pocket.
