Indian Arrowhead Collection with Indian Bone Knife
My father in law has been collecting these Arrowheads for many years and decided it was time for someone else to enjoy them.
From his research he has found that some of these arrowheads most likely came from the Eastern to Southeastern states. They are large, broad, triangular point that is thin and well made with long, wide, rounded to square stem that is parallel sided. The blade has convex sides and square to slightly barbed shoulders.
There are a few from Northeastern states which are small to medium size with the corner notched point with serrated edges and barbed shoulders. The base is straight to convex.
Lastly check out the early Americana knife. The handle is bone and in excellent shape. Amazing looking at the work that went into these weapons.
My father in law is asking $700.00 for all 18 pieces which is just about whar he has in the collection. He will consider any reasonable offers.
He recommends Robert M. Overstreet book, Identification and Price Guide To Indian Arrowheads.
