Kershaw KAI Cut Design by Hiro Made by Moki Seki Japan
This has to be one of the best made and most precisely made knives I have handled. The design is by Hiro which is owned by Ishikawa Cutlery or I.C. Made by the fine craftsmen in Seki Japan working at Moki for Kershaw. KAI Cut is Kershaw. This knife has what looks like either sandalwood or rosewood handles. The bolsters, blade, spring and pins are all stainless steel, with a very nice brushed stainless on the bolsters. Fit and finish is absolutely great, the "run up", where the blade and backspring meet, is tight and has no gap. Pleasing snap when the lock engages and the release is not difficult to press at all. Measures 4 1/2" closed OAL. Blade has never been used or sharpened. Handles are chip and crack free and honestly I don't see any scratches or handling marks on the metal anywhere. Mint condition. No box. Free shipping within the USA.
