These smaller Schrade Cut Co hunters are usually found, used and abused as they were the perfect size for pocket carry. This 1553 3/4 is in respectable condition considering. Measuring 4-1/4" closed and 7-3/16" closed with lovely peachseed bone handles that  are perfect with the exception of two super tight hairlines on the butt-end, as pictured.  nicely cleaned blade fires hard and sit deep but is 3/16" short, as measurements would indicate. As well, the blade, although cannot be closed without pressing the button, has a little play due to the common malady of a piece broken from the heel of the blade.   Safety functions.  Not without its issues the knife is still a bit more uncommon and is visually stunning. I believe its merits out weigh its faults.  Would make a great place holder or EDC.
