ADDITIONAL INFO:     The Schrade-Walden 141 was first listed in the 1958 Schrade catalog. It appeared in the Schrade catalogs in 1958 in 1959. It seems as though it disappeared from the catalog at that point, only to be reintroduced in 1961 with a bears head pommel and the name of “Tall Tale.” I even see the pattern once again listed in 1961 to 1965 and from as the Tall Tail. Seemingly competing with another listing from 1966 to 1973. At one point they are listed as having a saber ground blade, obviously that changed it someplace in time because this knife has flat ground blades. No wonder it’s always been so sharp and so easy to sharpen! This is a great knife for your hunting kit or for a display of all Schrade Walden fixed blades.
