K'roo Custom Clip Barlow African Blackwood Knife,2019,NEW, 3.45" clsd
The K'ROO custom is a classic Barlow pattern, 3.45" closed, GEC's 15 pattern, comes with a thick spined Clip point blade, pins, liners, and bolsters all steel, the blade is N690 Stainless steel and features matching African Blackwood scales. Also this is a " hidden action " notice the back of the blade doesn't rise above the handle. Provides a slimmer profile in the pocket and is more expensive to make. A modern take on a classic pattern. Comes new in a quality leather carry slip, with a COA. See COA in last pic for K'roo details on all materials used. The very thick spine in combination with the diatal taper grind is a real work horse. If you think it looks good, wait till you get it in hand. Ships next day, FREE, lower 48 only. Please take a sec and view my other knives. It truly oughta be All About Pocket Knives. I'm going to call these potato chip knives, one won't be enough. At almost 4 ozs as opposed to most heavier prod knives at 2 ozs, the feel in hand is amazing. If you wish to order one , tailor made, it's 50 bucks down , and a 3-4 week delivery, balance to be paid before I ship to you, after I provide pics of finished product. I have right now an Esky style Zulu in ivory and a Teardrop EO , GEC's 85 pattern,Sheepsfoot, 4 bolster, in ivory just completed, along with a 3.75 K'roo Clip, ivory, and an Esky style Zulu, in african blackwood. I'll have em the 28th of Jan 2020, and have pics now.
“A traditional pocketknife, you’re not going to improve on it,” Bose said. “They have a certain look to them, whether it’s a sleeveboard or a barlow. They have a look about them and if you deviate from that look then it’s not a traditional pocketknife anymore; it’s your take on a traditional pocketknife. They made them that way because they worked, and they still do." Excuse my quoting another knife maker, but when you're right your right.
