ADDITIONAL INFO: I wouldn’t use this hammer to peen pins. The brass is softer than a steel hammer and for that reason it is not good for peening pins because the pins will chew up the face hammer. But the fact it is softer than steel makes it very handy when one needs to deliver a blow to a piece of steel without leaving an indentation in the steel.
