Please Note: Orvet Customs is not taking orders at this time:

I am taking a vacation for a couple weeks. God willing I will be at the Oregon Knife Show (OKCA) April 12-14. If I have time I will open the store next week, if not it may even be the end of the month after my cataract surgery. Thank you all, Dale

ADDITIONAL INFO:      I don’t know when this knife was made, I do believe it was after World War II. Schrade was using resin impregnated knife handles on pocketknives in the 1950s and no doubt before that time. So the technology was available for companies who wanted to make a longer-lasting knife handle. The stamping on the blade just the word CAMILLUS is like the stamping shown in the 1946 Camillus catalog of the Army Quartermasters Butcher Knife and the Army Quartermasters and Navy Bread Knife.
