ADDITIONAL INFO: Country of origin is not marked on this knife which means it was imported and was probably imported prior to the McKinley tariff of 1890, which required the country of origin be stamped on types. Wedgeway was a brand used by Morley Bros. According to John Goins the Morley Bros. was used the Wedgeway brand from 1887 to 1923. Since the brand was around for three years prior to the McKinley tariff the knife could of been made prior to 1890 and imported into the US with no country of origin tang stamp. If it was imported, it was probably from Germany or England. This is an great little knife. The crack is marked on one of the pictures and labeled. It’s a very tight pin crack that I have stabilized with cyanoacrylate glue. I think it will all the now.
