Early PUMA White Hunter 6377 fixed blade knife, marked PUMA Germany / D.B.G.M., with PUMA leather sheath.

This is a well-used vintage example of the classic PUMA White Hunter pattern. No visible production/date code was found on the guard. The knife measures approximately 10-3/4" overall with approximately a 6" blade.

The blade shows honest use, including scratches, sharpening marks, staining, and general age wear. The White Hunter blade etch is still visible. Guard and metal surfaces show scratches and handling wear. This is not a mint or collector-grade knife, but it is still a very presentable vintage PUMA White Hunter.

Important handle repair disclosure:This knife had a broken/missing area at the butt end of one stag handle scale when I acquired it. I repaired that area using ground antler mixed with slow-cure two-part epoxy. The repair is solid and shaped to the handle, but it is visible. The color blends reasonably with the darker portions of the stag, but the repaired area has a more uniform appearance than natural stag. Close-up photos of the repair are included.
