Rare Deerfoot Lever Lock Switchblade Knife, Bayonet Blade, Japan

Rare Deerfoot Lever Lock Switchblade Knife, Bayonet Blade, Japan

Rare Deerfoot Lever Lock Switchblade Knife, Bayonet Blade, Japan.

This is a hard to find variation with a bayonet style blade. The only other similar models I found online have clip point blades. It's marked STAINLESS STEEL on the blade. The tang stamp is JAPAN below a stick figure holding a circle with SUPER crossed in the middle.

The liners are steel and top bolsters are brass. The handle scale is thick plastic shaped to look like a deerfoot. It has a brass bale attached at the bottom of the handle.

Hard to find lever lock variation for your collection! Please remember to check out my other items.

- The knife is used. The blade has been sharpened, has scuffs and scratches and peaks slightly when closed. The knife has patina and other signs of carry and use. I don't see any other condition issues. See the pictures as they represent the condition accurately.

- Functions well, fires ok and locks up with very little blade play.

- 6.75 inch total length, 2.75 inch blade.

- Knife only.

WANT LIST: I do my best to maintain an inventory of interesting and unique knives. I'm always looking for single pieces and collections. My current switchblade focus includes Miniature & Keychain, Vintage Imports from Europe (Spain, France, Italy, etc.) & Asia (Japan, Korea, Taiwan, etc.), RPK's, Bullfighters, older Microtechs & Daltons and some other American Switchblades. I also like interesting miniature knives and arms, 1980's Import Balisongs, Coutel, Digby's (Graham Clayton) and older Great Eastern Cutlery folders.

ABOUT: I've been into knives since I was a kid. I always seemed to have a small accumulation of them in my dresser drawer for example. I started carrying one regularly in 1991 when I was in the US Army stationed in Panama. My knife collecting days started around 2010 and in 2021 I decided to become a dealer.

I'm still a collector so I understand the fun and excitement of finding a new treasure. Because of that I always do my best to give accurate information about my knives and their condition. I take lots of pictures and offer video's for all the switchblades and some of the other knives I sell. I research sales prices and other available information and have a great network of dealers and collectors to draw from. All that said, I still make mistakes so please let me know if something I say is innacurate or misleading.
