Eggington Brothers Sleeveboard Knife, Imitation Mother of Pearl Scales, Sheffield England, Unused
Eggington Brothers Sleeveboard Knife, Imitation Mother of Pearl Scales, Sheffield England, Unused. Nice looking 2 blade sleeve board pattern folder that was possibly assembled by Stan Shaw as a prototype or gift. It has great file work on the spine.
The mark on the larger blade is STAINLESS SHEFFIELD ENGLAND and on the smaller blade is SHEFFIELD ENGLAND. I talked with a collector I know in the UK about the knife. He provided information that I included as a picture.
It's a great looking knife and sweet piece for your collection! Please remember to check out my other items.
- Has never been carried or used. It has some light scuffs and scratches. The blades have rub marks. I don't see any other condition issues. See the pictures as they represent the condition accurately.
- Smooth function opening and closing with snap on both blades.
- The total length with the main blade open is a tad over 5 inches, the handle is 3.25 inches and the main blade is 1.75 inches and the secondary blade is 1.5 inches.
- Knife only.

WANT LIST: I do my best to maintain an inventory of interesting and unique knives. I'm always looking for single pieces and collections. My current switchblade focus includes Miniature & Keychain, Vintage Imports from Europe (Spain, France, Italy, etc.) & Asia (Japan, Korea, Taiwan, etc.), RPK's, Bullfighters, older Microtechs & Daltons and some other American Switchblades. I also like interesting miniature knives and arms, 1980's Import Balisongs, Coutel, Digby's (Graham Clayton) and older Great Eastern Cutlery folders.
ABOUT: I've been into knives since I was a kid. I always seemed to have a small accumulation of them in my dresser drawer for example. I started carrying one regularly in 1991 when I was in the US Army stationed in Panama. My knife collecting days started around 2010 and in 2021 I decided to become a dealer.
I'm still a collector so I understand the fun and excitement of finding a new treasure. Because of that I always do my best to give accurate information about my knives and their condition. I take lots of pictures and offer video's for all the switchblades and some of the other knives I sell. I research sales prices and other available information and have a great network of dealers and collectors to draw from. All that said, I still make mistakes so please let me know if something I say is innacurate or misleading.
